Taped from the floor. What I wanted most was a good recording of the new set list segment starting with Zoo Station and ending with the intermission, so I experienced a new version of what I affectionately call taper's neurosis (when the fact that you're recording hinders your enjoyment of the concert itself, as every screamer, off key singer or talker around you makes you think about how this affects the recording). This time, I spent the first half hour of the show thinking about how I could position myself so that my taping spot for those three songs would be as good as it could be, given a loud, sometimes obnoxious audience and a so-so FOH sound. I think I did OK. I really enjoyed the show as well. I love this band. I hope Larry gets better and they will be here for a long time as a live band.
