Notes: The world was supposed to end on this day, but, big shocker here, that was WRONG! Go figure. Instead, a lucky 70,000 or so of us got to see a U2 concert! Good to have the boys back in the US of A. This recording was a challenge due to the sheer number of people inside the pit and concerns over the swirling wind. It was truly packed on teh Edge's side, which really made for an uncomfortable evening due to the constant movement of people in and out that had to push or plead their way for every foot of ground. There are some volume fluctuations early on and I thought it was because I had people pass directly in front of me; but, in listening to the other source and the SLC show, I am now thinking it is mostly a mixing issue from the soundboard. There were people very close to me for the entire show and crowd talk can be heard at times (more during the Intro, but not much of an issue with the rest of the show; please publically shun the drunk girl who showed up moments before U2 started and only wanted to hear Walk On). However, all my concerns were mostly moot - I think the recording turned out fine; a typical "CA-11 in the pit" recording. This one is for my brother and sister. Enjoy!
