JEMS was actively recording and collecting during the Zoo TV tour, and our number one trading partner was based in Atlanta. He too was a taper and trader, and this Albany show came to him soon after it was recorded and he in turn made a quality dub for us as he so often did.
Based on the screen captures on Achtung Bootlegs, this should be a material upgrade to the circulating version, sharper and cleaner all around thanks to a much lower generation source. As Zoo TV audience cams go, it is pretty darn steady and consistent thanks to a tripod and it zooms in closer than most of them. I'd consider it one of the best video documents of the first leg of the tour.
The tape has been sitting in a box for over 20 years and I thought it was worth a look. Huge thanks for Chrisedge, a longtime collaborator, for agreeing to transfer the tape and prep it for release. Screenshots provided.
